Entrepreneur Chefs Have To Mix It Up!

Now in its 6th year, Chez Montier’s Valentine Day’s Pop-Up Dinner is a much anticipated event. It’s also an opportunity for me to innovate with flavors and foods which serve as the setting for a romantic evening where our guests can celebrate love and friendship.

This year I am excited to collaborate with Michelle Gainey of Society 414 to create a unique Valentine’s ’Date Night’ experience. Drawing on her background as an award-winning event designer, Michelle has perfected the unique concept of the mystery supper club. Through a series of clues guests learn about the elements of the event through email and social media.

I must admit we were taking a leap of faith that our loyal clients would enjoy this type of pre-event promotion. But that’s the life of an entrepreneur… sometimes you take a risk. And thus far folks seem to like the new approach – “I LOVE this clue game! So exciting!”

Just for fun here's our first clue. A European country known for its fabulous art, amazing wines, spectacular food and quaint villages. If you guessed my culinary inspiration was Italy – you guessed right! We've named this year’s Valentine’s Day Pop-Up, Amore en Abbondanza, love in abundance.
